Who we are

Aldris is a serverless proxy and VPN client for configurations and endpoints chosen by the user, operated by Snowah. For any privacy question, contact hello@snowah.com.

We are the data controller for the processing described here under the GDPR.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what the Aldris mobile app does with information. It does not cover third-party services that have their own policies, which we link where relevant.

What we collect and why

Aldris is built to keep your data on your device. We collect as little as possible:

• Your imported server configurations, subscription URLs, settings, and the plain-language activity log, all stored in the app's private storage on your device and never sent to Snowah.
• QR codes are decoded locally. Camera frames are not stored or transmitted.
• Aldris does not collect browsing activity, DNS queries, connection timestamps, bandwidth, IP addresses, advertising identifiers, or Android diagnostics.
• On iOS only, you may optionally send scrubbed crash diagnostics through Firebase Crashlytics. Hostnames, configurations, IP addresses, and traffic data are removed, analytics is disabled, and crash reporting can be turned off in Settings.
• Purchase status is checked on-device through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Snowah does not receive your card details or operate an account system.

Legal bases (GDPR Article 6)

• Performance of our agreement with you (providing the app and its core features).
• Your consent, for optional diagnostics and, where applicable, personalised advertising; you can withdraw consent at any time in the app or device settings.
• Our legitimate interests in keeping the app secure, stable, and free of abuse, balanced against your rights.
• Compliance with legal obligations, such as tax records for purchases.

Service providers and recipients

We share data only with processors that help us run the app:

• Apple App Store and Google Play, for app distribution, purchase processing, and on-device entitlement checks.
• Google Firebase Crashlytics, only when optional iOS crash reporting is enabled, for scrubbed stability diagnostics. Firebase Analytics is disabled.
• Cloudflare WARP, only when you explicitly choose the built-in WARP connection. Cloudflare handles that tunnel under its own terms.
• Any server or subscription provider you configure. Your device connects directly to that provider; Snowah is not in the traffic path and does not receive the configuration.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside your country. Where they do, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep data

On-device data lasts only as long as the app is installed. Diagnostics are retained for a short period in aggregated form.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, and port your data, and to object to certain processing. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Aldris has no account and keeps its configs, settings, and local activity log on your device. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes them. There is no Snowah server-side copy to request or delete.

Children

These apps are not directed to children under the age required by your local law for digital consent, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect information. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to keep risk low.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date. Last updated 6 August 2026.
